Just Who Do You Think You Are? 


When you hear your own answer to that question,  how does it feel?  Are you still hearing words of criticism, judgment, and doubt? 

Our Father wants you to know, as a child of the Most High, where you stand with Him.  He wants you to know that you stand completely forgiven, highly favored and deeply loved.  

How can this be?  Because it cost Him His Son.  He paid the price, but He wants you to receive the blessings freely.  That is His love toward you.  

The blessings He has stored up for you include the Fruit of the Spirit.  They are the antidote for each area of stress in our lives.  

"Do you need peace of mind? My Son wore the crown of thorns on His head to give it to you.  Take it!" - God

God, our Father, wants you to receive like the prodigal son, who deserved nothing but received everything. (Luke 15:11-24) God delights in giving freely.  And He delights in you receiving freely because it shows that you value and appreciate His Son's sacrifice. 

When you try to work for it, you frustrate the grace of God and make light of Jesus'work on Calvary. 

Today, treat yourself and the beloved child you are.  Talk to yourself with the gentleness that is a gift to His child.  

When you begin to value you as He values you,  the decisions for self-care come, one at a time.  

"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."  2 Cor. 10:5

Tear down those arguments that devalue you!
