Vitamin W3 - Three Wins
The way we begin our day and the
way we end our day are the two parts of the day we have control over. Sometimes things are going to blow up
throughout the day and we will be learning to choose our thoughts for that. But the value of framing our day within the
Morning and Evening Routine is priceless.
Set your Evening Routine similar to
your Morning Routine, without technology.
The messages you may receive at the end of the day may keep you awake
plus the "blue screen"
stimulation can inhibit restful sleep. A good night sleep is vital to
stimulate the Relaxation Response and all the efficient performance our body
has during that Response.
Starting today, begin writing your three wins or Vitamin W3. Reflect back over
your day and recognize your wins. There
could be days where you feel as if you have nothing. Guess what, you are alive, you woke up, and you are breathing. There are three wins!
Recording our accomplishments
changes the chemistry in our brain. It
stimulates the "I can do it"
endorphins and helps us believe we can accomplish even more. We can get a picture of what tomorrow will
look like.
The wins I would like for you to
remind yourself of can be goal oriented, small, actionable steps. They can also be internal victories that only
you are aware of. "I stayed calm
and re-framed my thoughts when that customer was rude and demanding."
Which type of win is most important? BOTH.
Encouragement is oxygen for the
soul.
What you do
this evening sets you up to be the best you can be tomorrow.
