Do You Want What You Value?


That is an excellent question! 

We can ask ourselves that question many times a day.

We can ask ourselves that when we are deciding if we are going to watch TV.

We can ask ourselves that when we are in a conversation and our cellphone buzzes.

We can ask ourselves that when we are deciding to get seven hours of sleep.

We can ask ourselves that before we eat a snack.  

Sometimes it seems that food has so much power over us,  but all it takes is a good question to supervise our thoughts about food.

What do you value?  If you are reading this blog, there is a good chance that you value your well being, you value your time and you value your standing as a child of God.

Use your pre-frontal cortex ( the part of us mad in the image of God) to slow down in your decision making.  Think about what you value.  

The things you value create your compelling reason for following through with your plan to regain well being, lose weight and go from inner struggle to winning the battle between your ears.
