Behavior Is An Echo of Our Beliefs Have you ever thought about this? It's true.  If we believe we can't keep our house clean, we don't. If we believe we can get dinner made, we do. If we believe we can't lose weight, we don't. Let me help you understand why this is true, and I'll end with an example that will show how powerful our beliefs are.  Circumstances are the things outside of us, the people, the situations, the facts. No opinions Our thoughts, when we think them over and over, become our beliefs.  Our thoughts are our interpretation of the circumstances in our lives. Our opinions. Our thoughts always create our feelings.  Feelings are simply vibrations in our bodies, but they are the reason we do, or don't do anything.  Our behavior, or our actions are the things we do.  How we act.  Our behaviors always give us our results.   Now lets take a look at how this works.  I wanted...

"Just this..."  will steal your dreams Are you like me?   Have you heard yourself saying... "Just this little bite." Or "Just this one time." Or  "Just this drink won't matter." I have heard myself think that and even say it out loud.  It's seems natural, like pushing the easy button.   What I didn't realize is that each time I heard myself say that, my dreams were stolen.  Actually, I was giving them away.   My primal brain or "toddler brain"  was so quick to make and excuse for me.  It always seemed to start with the phrase..."Just this....." "Just this..." kept me on the yo-yo diet merry -go-round for decades.   My dreams of feeling comfortable in my clothes, of feeling energetic all day, of having less brain fog, seemed to slip away with that one phrase. In reality, the underlying message is that I was not valuing myself enough to follow through.   ...

Is A Plan Really That Important? Has this happened to you? You have a long day. You have no idea what to make for supper. You order take out and super size it since "you've already blown it." I can relate.  This is what I did all the time when I felt at my worst and weighed the most.   I didn't plan WHAT I would actually eat each day.  Day after day I wished I could lose weight and hoped I would do better. Ten Minutes a Day for Six Days Are you worth it?  I believe you are. And I'm not the only one. If you are stressed out and wish you could manage your life in a way that wasn't so exhausting, I invite you to invest 10 minutes a day for six days. You are a beautifully created Body, Soul and Spirit.
